Abstract: In this talk we'll give an exposition of that part of the recent Connell-Nguyen-Spatzier paper (https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.11990) which is about the Lyapunov spectrum rigidity of local diffeomorphisms respecting the polarization of a CC structure at a fixed point. The ideas to be discussed in this talk roughly correspond to the third of the aforementioned paper. In the sequel talk we'll discuss the foliated CC structure theorem and the foliated CC arithmeticity theorem, which are roughly from the fourth section of the paper.
